Hello,

Here is a bit of an update about what is going on with us. We are still living in Grand Junction and enjoying it very much. Mike has quite a commute. (5 hours of driving a day) But overall, us living here rather than Rifle balances out our life style and happiness. Mike is a foreman on a huge Sheridan that is going up in Avon, CO. (Near Vail) It is a four year job, so he feels secure and it's also the biggest job the company has ever taken on.

I am working at Columbine Elem. (My kid's attend school there) I am a reading instructional aide, an Elm teacher (Early learning mediation) and a kindergarten tutor for 3 students. I am staying very busy with it all and I enjoy it very much.

Alexandra had expanders put into her mouth last week. Soon, she'll be in a head gear and braces. I'm glad she is getting it over with now. Especially since we'll have the orthodontist bill paid for by the time it's Nicholas's turn! I guess that's a bonus to having then 4.5 years apart.

We are moving this May to a different area of Grand Junction. It's called the Redlands. It's called that because the dirt there is red. It's a beautiful place to live. The Colorado Nat'l Monument is practically in everybody's backyard. It's also one of the pricier areas to live in Grand Junction. We will be buying Mike's parents home, and since they are selling it to us for such a reasonable price, we had to take them up on it. It's a 2,800 sq. foot house with a beautiful yard...including many, many rose bushes that I'll need training on how to care for them. Not to mention, the big remodeling plans that we have in store.

We have a trip coming up the end of March. We are going to spend one night at Granddad's and Charlotte's new home in Utah. We'll then go on to Las Vegas for one night at the New York, NY casino. After that, we are heading to San Diego for two nights. Alexandra, the dolphin lover that she is, will have her dream come true, by doing the Dolphin Interaction Program. (90 minutes in dolphin heaven) On top of that, she'll have her favorite cousin, Naomi, joining us along with my Mom. We leave CA to head to Phoenix for the remaining of the week. There is a Kohlberg family reunion there on the 31st of March.

I guess that is about it for now. Hopefully, our life will remain this satisfying. It took me awhile to get here, but I am and I couldn't be happier.
