Nancy - "Nancy Trabue Minter's husband, Joseph Watkins was bondsman for the marriage in 1807. Between 1840 & 1850 John T. Minter left Sumner Co. TN and moved to Pope Co. IL. Mary is listed in the 1850 census with John T. Minter in Pope Co. IL and she is buried in Pope Co. beside him. John Minter wrote his will before his last marriage. Lauretta & John Minter had a daughter who died young & she was able to break the will. She also had 2 sons by a previous marriage. She is buried beside John T. Minter in Pole Co. IL."

    • William married Elizabeth (Garnett) Gran Waggoner - 10 Sep 1807, Adair Co. KY - "They moved from Columbia, Adair Co. KY to Columbia Maury Co. TN abt 1833. In 1925, Isaac N. Rainey wrote:
    "Grandfather Minter brought with him a cotton and woolen spinning mill....of the treadmill variety....The mill grew; steam was applied in time. Now a fine big mill of many bales per day has evolved from that modest little one-horse driven mill in Columbia."
    William Minter is listed in the 1850 census in Maury Co. TN living in the household of his daughter & son-in-law, Mary Minter & W. S. Rainey."
